Glacier

A new block for the Quilt Story contest.

I like looking at wonky quilts.  I would like to take a class about them or learn more about them through books.  I sat down today with some of my blue scraps and pieced together a crazy wonky square.  These things kinda take on a life of their own. I am calling this one Glacier.

When you do something like this to you piece it to a square like in strip quilting or just piece it & trim it to a square afterwards?

I am no expert here but basically I just started sewing some pieces together. I cut of uneven ends and then attached more. When it started to become the size I wanted I trimmed it to become a block. It was a lot of fun.

OMG Kathleen- you are so nice. Thank you.

Amanda Jean- Thank you. No foundation. I just kinda started putting it together. Its like a puzzle as I go. And I am not quite sure where it is all going.
