Who met Bonnie Hunter?

Me- thats who. I took a class, Crumb Piecing, from her in Tonawanda with my friend Jan.  Had a blast.  Very much enjoyed the class and enjoyed Bonnie's style and personality.
These pics are all of Bonnie's work. Her quilts, her blocks.

This quilt above is my friend Jan's.  Its called Lantana, after the flower.  It was Jan's choice of colors for Easy Street.  Beautiful, right?

Tilted Log Cabin

I took a class a couple years ago and made this wall hanging.  Then I promptly finished it, rolled it up and stuffed it somewhere.  I did not know where it was for quite some time.  I recently found it and am thinking about putting it in my Etsy shop-  Piper's Moon

My goal for the month of September is to get my stuff pictured and posted to the shop.

I like roosters but my house does not lend itself to roosters. The name of the wall hanging is "Le Coq Torsadee"  Which in my best estimation means, "the cock dance" in French.

If you speak French let me know if that is correct or totally off...

Ocean Waves Part II

Here is my mini design wall with my first block of Ocean Waves.  I am totally happy with it.  All fears were put to rest.  At one point I was very nervous about my color choices.  It was like the painters regret I have had on so many occasions.  You paint, the room is empty, and you think OMG! What have I done?  But then all the furniture gets moved back in accents get put out, paintings and wall art get hung and you say to yourself, it worked, it really worked. I guess its all about the interplay of the colors.
